The Kilt Walk is taking place on the last day of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Make a day of it and revel in the festival atmosphere we’re creating at the Ross Theatre!
11am-12pm - The build up to the Walk will begin at 11am with a ceilidh hosted by The Porridge Men. No need to do stretches to warm up, a quick Gay Gordons will soon get you limbered up!
12pm-1pm - The Kilt Walk takes place.
1pm-4pm - The main event will be a Scottish concert featuring Cantara and Scocha, with other activities such as face painting on offer.
The Porridge Men are a 5 piece Scottish band who fuse traditional Scottish music with modern influences to create a unique vibrant sound.

An Edinburgh based Celtic/world music band, the line-up is currently Highland pipes, Spanish and electric guitars, electric bass, vocals, whistle, drums and percussion. Cantara members originate from various musical backgrounds. As a result of their contrasting backgrounds they have developed a unique fusion of styles.
